It was only weeks ago that Angel Investigations, Scooby Gang, the Winchesters, and everyone else that fought for the good of mankind banished Edan back to Hell. Since then, the Fanged Four have run rampant on the streets of Rome, leaving friends, and foe, dead in their wake. After ridding the Slayers of their abilities through an ancient ritual, and attempting to ambush them in the Hotel del Nevell lobby, the Fanged Four were brutally separated in a climactic battle that ended in the re-ensoulment of Spike and Angel, and the long overdue demise of Drusilla.
But while that battle raged, Fallen Angel Callisto made the decision to pull from Hell one of its most powerful, deadly inhabitants. Edan has returned, and he has his sights set on vengeance against those that imprisoned him, with the rest of the world vulnerable to his deadly will. With Edan and Callisto, two supreme entities of unimaginable power, hell bent on creating chaos for Team Good, and the rest of our planet, the future looks rather grim. At Wolfram & Hart, the new generation of Senior Partners are being called forward: Dawn Summers, the Wolf; Charles Gunn, the Ram; and Darla, the Hart. But that's nothing compared to what waits to awaken, a power that outranks even the hell god, and one that is anxious to come out and play. As time winds down on Earth's darkest hour, it seems all we know is falling, and this could very well be the last stand...
